Looking ahead to September? Hays Education is working with a number of primary schools in the Yardley and B25 area who are looking for dedicated Teaching Assistants to join them for the new academic year.

Your new role

You will support teachers in delivering lessons, working with pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis. A key part of the role may involve supporting children with additional needs, helping them to stay engaged and progress with their learning.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience supporting children in a school or similar setting
• TA qualification (Level 2/3, CACHE, NVQ or equivalent) preferred
• A strong interest in supporting SEN pupils
• Positive, adaptable and proactive attitude
• Excellent communication skills
