This qualification is work related and will relate specifically to your job role.

Units include:

201- Consultation

202- Shampoo & Condition

203- Cut Hair

204- Style & Finish

205- Colour Hair

206-207- Hair relaxing treatment and techniques

The duration of this apprenticeship programme is 24 months, plus an average of 3-6 months for the End Point Assessment.

• Work with Senior Stylist, helping and learning
• Welcoming Clients
• Checking clients into the system
• Washing Hair
• Preparing clients for stylist
• General day to day tidying and cleanliness
• Making Tea & Coffee for clientele
• Once confident, having own clients with guidance from Senior Stylist/Owner
• Must be Hard working
• Willing to learn
• Able to use own initiative
• Good communication skills

Apprentice working schedule to be confirmed with salon

Minimum 30 hours per week paid including one day per week in college
