We are currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join a growing business based in Stockton. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established organisation, with a preference for someone with a construction sector experience. The Role As a Credit Controller, you will play a key role in managing the company’s accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices and maintaining strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities
Managing and maintaining the sales ledger
Chasing outstanding payments via phone and email
Building strong relationships with clients to resolve queries efficiently
Allocating incoming payments and reconciling accounts
Producing aged debt reports and supporting cash flow forecasting
Liaising with internal teams to resolve invoicing issues
The Person
About You
Previous experience in a Credit Control role
Construction industry experience is highly desirable
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines
High attention to detail and good organisational skills
