Finance Business Partner – Manufacturing | Chesterfield

A growing manufacturing organisation is looking to appoint a commercially focused Finance Business Partner to play a key role in supporting operational and strategic decision-making across the business.

This is a hands-on opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys working closely with operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, whilst adding real commercial value.

What you’ll be doing:

• Partnering with operations and production teams to provide financial insight and support key business decisions.
• Analysing budgets, costs, and operational performance, identifying opportunities, efficiencies, and potential risks.
• Liaising with budget holders to review and monitor spend across departments.
• Supporting pricing strategies, cost control initiatives, and continuous improvement projects.
• Assisting with month-end reporting, forecasting, and maintaining strong financial controls.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to help streamline finance operations and support future growth.

Who we’re looking for:

• A practical and proactive finance professional with strong commercial awareness.
• Someone confident communicating with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Previous experience within budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• An individual who enjoys problem-solving, improving processes, and driving positive change.
• Prior manufacturing or operational finance experience would be advantageous.
