Property Manager
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £40,000
Job Type: Permanent
Hours: 9.00am – 5.30pm
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a residential apartment building in Birmingham. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys managing operations, working closely with residents, and ensuring a high standard of service and maintenance across the building.
The role
• Manage the daily running of the building, ensuring all areas are clean, safe and well maintained
• Act as the main point of contact for residents, handling enquiries and resolving issues promptly
• Oversee maintenance and repairs, coordinating contractors and ensuring works are completed to a high standard
• Carry out regular inspections, identifying and addressing any issues
• Manage service contracts and supplier relationships
• Monitor budgets and control operational costs
• Support lettings activity including viewings, move-ins and move-outs
• Ensure full compliance with health and safety and relevant legislation
• Maintain accurate records and reporting
About you
• Previous experience in property or building management within a residential environment
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Good understanding of maintenance and facilities management
• Organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Financial awareness and experience managing budgets
• Knowledge of health and safety and compliance requirements
• Proactive, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
• Confident working independently and making decisions
