Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a motivated and committed Primary Trainee Teacher to work on a supply basis in primary schools across Sheffield during the Summer Term 2026. This opportunity is well suited to trainee teachers looking to gain additional classroom experience, strengthen their teaching practice, and work within a variety of supportive school settings ahead of securing a permanent role.

Role Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons and support pupil learning
• Adapt effectively to different classroom settings and school environments
• Maintain strong behaviour management in line with school policies
• Support pupils in achieving their learning objectives
• Follow safeguarding procedures at all times

Person Specification

• Currently working towards a Primary teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent)
• Confident and professional classroom presence
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Flexible, reliable and proactive approach
• Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or is willing to obtain one
• Right to work in the UK
