Job Title: Housing Officer

Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
BRC are working closely with a well-established Housing Association in Worcestershire to recruit a motivated Housing Officer to support tenancy sustainment and deliver high-quality housing management services.
This role involves providing frontline housing support to tenants, managing tenancies effectively, responding to housing needs, and ensuring excellent customer service across a designated patch of properties.
Duties: - Deliver a professional housing management service to tenants and residents
- Provide advice and support to help tenants sustain their tenancies, including rent payments and benefit guidance
- Conduct estate inspections and respond to neighbourhood issues, including anti-social behaviour
- Manage tenancy enforcement, including rent arrears prevention and appropriate actions where needed
- Coordinate property viewings, sign-ups, and tenancy terminations in line with policy
- Work with internal teams, contractors, and external partners to resolve housing issues
- Maintain accurate records, case notes, and performance information
Requirements: - Previous experience in housing management, customer service, or a related field
- Understanding of housing legislation, tenancy agreements, and rent management
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage a caseload, prioritise tasks, and work independently
- IT literate with experience using housing management systems
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle desirable
