An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced IFA Administrator to join a professional and friendly financial services firm based in the heart of Shrewsbury.

The Role

This is a full-time, office used position supporting Financial Advisors with a wide range of administrative duties.

You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of client services and maintaining high compliance standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing full administrative support to Financial Advisors
  • Processing new business applications (pensions, investments, protection)
  • Liaising with providers, platforms, and clients to obtain information and updates
  • Managing client records and maintaining accurate data on internal systems/CRM
  • Handling client queries in a professional and timely manner
  • Scheduling appointments and managing advisor diaries
  • Assisting with compliance requirements and ensuring FCA standards are met
  • Supporting the end-to-end client journey from onboarding through to review

About You

  • Previous experience within an IFA or financial services administration role is essential
  • Strong understanding of financial products such as pensions, investments, and protection
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience using CRM systems and back-office platforms (e.g. Intelligent Office, Adviser Office, or similar)
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Relevant financial services qualifications (or working towards) would be advantageous
