Description

  • Manage a portfolio of private clients.
  • Review and prepare self-assessment tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide tax planning advice on inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and other personal tax matters.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Oversee and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support where needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and advise clients accordingly.
  • Assist with tax investigations and liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients.
  • Work closely with other departments to provide holistic advice to clients

Profile

A successful Private Client Tax Manager should have:


  • Professional qualification such as ATT, CTA, ACCA, ACA or QBE.
  • Strong technical knowledge of personal tax and related legislation.
  • Proven experience in managing a portfolio of private clients in the professional services industry.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
  • Ability to provide bespoke tax planning and compliance advice.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of service and accuracy.
