Temp & Permanent OpportunitiesLocation: Outskirts of Chelmsford, Essex (Office-Based)

We are recruiting for a newly created Management Accountant role, offering both temporary and permanent opportunities, based on the outskirts of Chelmsford, Essex. This position is fully office-based, Monday to Friday, and will therefore suit candidates who are locally based and able to commute to the office 5 days per week.
The RoleThis is a broad, hands-on Management Accountant position within a growing business. As this is a newly created role, you will have the opportunity to help shape processes, improve reporting, and add real value through insight and problem-solving.Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Producing accurate and timely financial reports
• Supporting operational teams with financial insight
• Improving and streamlining finance processes
• Ad hoc analysis and involvement in business projects

The Ideal Candidate

• Ideally ACCA / CIMA / ACA qualified, though strong Finalists or excellent QBE candidates will also be considered
• Proven experience within a Management Accountant or similar role
• Confident working in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Innovative, solutions-focused and able to adapt quickly
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive mindset
• Comfortable working on-site, 5 days per week
