Description

• Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner for all employees.
• Maintain up-to-date records of employee payments and deductions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant payroll regulations and standards.
• Address payroll-related queries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate with the HR team to update employee records as required.
• Support end-of-year payroll procedures and documentation.
• Contribute to process improvements within payroll systems and operations.

Profile

A successful Payroll Officer should have:

• Experience running payroll and sending payslips.
• Prepare and upload payroll journals
• Produce monthly reconciliations of payroll
• Produce monthly analysis if payroll variances
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with employees and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Teacher's pension scheme advantageous
