Internal Proactive Sales Representative

£12.88 per hour – negotiable depending on experience

3-6 months with potential of permanent

Are you a motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships and uncovering new opportunities? We are looking for an Internal Proactive Sales Representative to join a well-established growing team.

This is a fast-paced B2B role where you’ll engage with customers, generate new business, and play a key role in driving sales growth. If you’re proactive, confident on the phone, and thrive in a target-driven environment – we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Proactively contacting existing and new customers to promote our products and services
• Building strong relationships to position us as the supplier of choice
• Following up on enquiries and quotations via phone and email
• Identifying customer needs and providing tailored solutions
• Generating leads and booking appointments for the external sales team
• Maintaining accurate records of all activity within our CRM system
• Achieving daily and weekly call and sales targets
• Staying up to date with market trends, products, and competitor activity
• Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in B2B sales
• Background in technical or engineering sales (ideal but not essential)
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Confidence in making outbound calls and working towards targets
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office
• A positive, “can-do” attitude and ability to work under pressure

Full UK Driving Licence preferred
