Salary: £24,571.00 - £26,231.00 Per Annum, Pro Rata

Are you able to deliver fantastic customer service, and would you like to work for an organisation that is making a big difference to our natural world? We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working people person, to work in our café at our Titchwell Marsh Reserve.

About the Role

Duties include preparing hot drinks using our Barista machine, cooking toasties/paninis, baking pasties, cash handling, stock rotation, receiving deliveries, and maintaining café cleanliness. You’ll also work alongside and support our volunteers.

Essential skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Experience of working at a catering environment/visitor attraction.
  • Knowledge of food and foodservice skills.
  • Till operation and payment handling.
  • Knowledge of health and safety in the workplace.
  • Basic food hygiene knowledge.
  • GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
  • Enthusiastic approach to work.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise workloads.
  • Multi-tasking skills.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work on own initiative.
  • Ability to manage and respond quickly and positively to customer needs and feedback.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Computer literate.

Additional information:

  • Your regular days will be Wednesday-Thursday however you may occasionally be asked to work different days.
  • This is a Permanent Part-Time role for 15 hours per week.
  • Full induction and training will be provided.
