I’m currently working on an exciting opportunity for a Rural Property Solicitor to join a highly regarded commercial law firm in Newcastle City Centre.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and growing team acting for a diverse range of rural, agricultural and landed estate clients across a broad spectrum of rural property matters.
The successful candidate will:
Manage their own varied caseload of rural property matters
Advise on the sale and purchase of farms, land and rural property
Handle refinancing matters relating to farms and agricultural land
Advise on farm business tenancies, Agricultural Holdings Act tenancies and easements
Work closely with an experienced rural property partner on complex matters
Play an active role in business development and networking initiatives
The ideal candidate will:
Be a qualified solicitor or experienced fee earner with experience in agricultural/rural property matters
Have experience handling property transactions involving rural or agricultural land
Be confident managing their own caseload independently
Have strong communication and relationship-building skills
Be commercially minded with a genuine interest in business development
Ideally have an existing network of contacts or introducers
