Description

  • Conduct internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of financial and operational controls.
  • Identify and assess risks, providing recommendations for mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare detailed reports on audit findings and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement audit recommendations effectively.
  • Assist in the development of audit plans and programs tailored to the organisation's needs.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of corrective actions resulting from audits.
  • Act as a key point of contact for French-speaking stakeholders and international teams.

Profile

A successful Senior Internal Auditor should have:

  • Fluency in both French and English, with strong communication skills in both languages.
  • A professional qualification in accounting or auditing (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIA) or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in internal auditing within the industrial or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of risk management practices and internal control frameworks.
  • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
