Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm

An established Distribution company in Bradford is seeking a Sales Office Administrator to join its busy Direct Delivery Department. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction, thrives in a fast-paced office environment, and wants to be part of a supportive, friendly team. Full product training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for both experienced administrators and those looking to develop their career in sales administration. You will play a key role in supporting customers and the wider sales function, ensuring orders are processed accurately and enquiries are handled efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound sales calls, accurately processing and recording customer orders
  • Identify technical queries and liaise with manufacturers where specialist support is required
  • Provide customers with updates on delivery times and order progress
  • Manage and resolve general customer complaints professionally
  • Deliver consistently high levels of customer service on every call
  • Complete detailed administrative work following customer interactions to maintain accurate records
  • Support the Aftersales Department with ad hoc administrative duties as required

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous customer service experience within a busy, fast-paced office environment
  • Confident and professional telephone manner
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
  • High attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and routine Excel use)
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well as part of a team
