In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our maintenance strategy, delivering a high-quality lubrication, monitoring and reporting service that directly supports asset reliability and maximises performance across our network. Every day brings variety – you’ll start from home and travel to multiple wastewater sites across the North West , making a visible and meaningful impact on the smooth running of essential infrastructure.

The RoleAs a Lubrication Technician, you will deliver lubrication best practice across our wastewater asset base. Working largely independently, you will plan and manage your own daily activities, ensuring assets are cared for safely, effectively and consistently across multiple sites. Most tasks will be carried out alone, with occasional two person activities, and you will collaborate when required with process controllers, field service engineers and the wider maintenance team.
Key AccountabilitiesYou will be responsible for delivering an effective lubrication service across assets identified within the maintenance strategy. You will carry out lubrication activities on wastewater operational sites, ensuring work is completed to the required standard and confirmed at the correct frequencies. To be considered for this role, you will need five GCSEs including Maths and English at grade C or 4 to 9 or equivalent, along with practical lubrication experience and a background in maintenance or mechanical engineering.
