Property Administrator – Block & Commercial

Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 (pro rata) + company benefits

Location: Horsham

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm (office based)

Full Time or Part Time Considered (P/T min 4 days per week)

Are you an organised and proactive Property Administrator looking to join a professional and supportive property company within a varied Block and Commercial property environment?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a bright and highly organised individual to support a busy property management team based in Horsham. This role would suit someone with previous property administration experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and providing a high level of customer service to clients, leaseholders and contractors.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and processing LPE1 packs and associated documentation
  • Assisting with the administration of Section 20 major works consultations
  • Dealing with incoming telephone and email enquiries from leaseholders, tenants, contractors and clients
  • Raising invoices and processing contractor invoices
  • Updating and maintaining property management records and databases
  • Supporting Property Managers with day-to-day administration duties
  • Coordinating maintenance requests and contractor appointments
  • Preparing correspondence, notices and general property documentation
  • Assisting with insurance administration and compliance documentation
  • Filing, scanning and maintaining accurate electronic records
  • Monitoring shared mailboxes and ensuring queries are responded to efficiently
  • Assisting with arranging meetings, site visits and diary management where required
  • General office administration and ad hoc support to the wider team

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous administration experience within property, block management, commercial property or lettings preferred
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work efficiently under pressure
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
  • Professional, proactive and team-focused approach
