Management Accountant

Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a large, international professional services business based in Leeds.

This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified or newly qualified accountant looking to build a long-term career within a well-structured finance function. The role offers strong exposure to management accounting, clear progression pathways, and full study support towards CIMA or ACCA.

The role:

Reporting into a Finance Manager, key responsibilities will include:

• Production of monthly management accounts
• Preparation and posting of accruals, prepayments and journals
• Balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
• Assisting with month-end close and reporting deadlines
• Working with stakeholders across the wider business to provide financial insight

The ideal candidate

• Part-qualified (or newly qualified) CIMA or ACCA
• Experience in management accounting or month-end reporting
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, professional environment
• Ambitious and keen to progress within a larger organisation

Salary & benefits

• Salary of £45,000 - £50,000
