Fantastic opportunity for a fully Qualified Accountant to join a genuinely great team in the heart of Uxbridge. The role would suit a candidate from an FMCG/Retail background or similar within an SME background.
Take ownership of preparing and deliver monthly management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliation - supported by the Senior and Junior Management Accountant’s.
Support with preparing and coordinating of quarterly and annual budgets.
Conduct detailed variance analysis with insightful commentary for internal stakeholders.
Support the the successful execution of the two annual audits, ensuring compliance and timely delivery and other reg
Monitor cashflow forecasts.
Lead and mentor and develop junior members of staff.
Quarterly and monthly VAT returns for UK and Germany
Working across multiple countries using several different currencies
Additional quarterly and monthly reporting obligations
Liaise with budget holders and senior stakeholders across departments to ensure alignment and accountability.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement in financial policies, procedures, and systems.
Develop internal controls and maintain compliance with accounting policies
Support ad-hoc financial analysis and strategic projects as required.
Requirements
ACCA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
Advanced Excel skills
Excellent attention to detail is a must
Strong analytical skills and a natural curiosity to investigate trends and anomalies in data with problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and collaborate cross-functionally.
Need to be motivated with a can-do attitude and the ability to work independently
