Job Title: Trade Counter Sales Person

Location: Hanwell

Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 DOE

Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 16:30
• Friday: 07:00 – 16:00
• Saturday: 07:30 – 10:30

About the Role

We’re recruiting for a confident and customer-driven Counter Sales / Trades Person to join a busy branch in Uxbridge. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, providing product knowledge, practical advice, and ensuring a smooth and efficient sales experience from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve customers at the trade counter, understanding their needs and recommending suitable products
• Identify sales opportunities and provide solutions to support customer requirements
• Process sales transactions and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately
• Maintain a clean, organised, and well-presented trade counter area
• Liaise with suppliers, internal departments, and other branches when needed
• Monitor stock levels and highlight low stock to management
• Ensure compliance with company policies and Health & Safety standards
• Support branch operations and assist with general duties, including stock checks

• Strong customer service and sales experience
• Proactive, approachable, and confident communicator
• Able to build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Organised with good attention to detail
• Team player with a flexible, hands-on attitude
