About the Role

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning across Key Stages 4 and 5. You will contribute to the continued development of a rigorous and engaging sociology curriculum that enables students to develop critical thinking, analytical skills, and a strong understanding of contemporary social issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
  • Contribute to the development of schemes of work and departmental resources
  • Promote critical thinking, debate, and independent learning
  • Support enrichment, intervention, and extracurricular opportunities
