About Us:

Supply Staff is currently recruiting Core Subject Tutors to support students across Redbridge and surrounding areas. We are looking for experienced Core Subject Tutors who are passionate about helping children and young people achieve academic progress through personalised education.

Job Overview:

As a Core Subject Tutor, you will provide one-to-one tuition in English, Maths, and Science to students outside of mainstream education. The successful Core Subject Tutor will support students with varying academic abilities, including those with SEN, SEMH, and gaps in education. This Core Subject Tutor role is ideal for someone passionate about helping students build confidence and re-engage with learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging one-to-one sessions as a Core Subject Tutor.

• Adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs and abilities.

• Support students with academic progress across core subjects.

• Build positive relationships with students and families.

• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback.

Requirements:

• Previous tutoring or education experience is desirable.

• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.

• Passion for supporting students with additional needs.

• Patient, resilient, and adaptable approach.
