Join Our Clients Team as a Shipping and Receiving Operator based in Margate!

Are you ready to embark on a rewarding journey with them? We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Shipping and Receiving Operator to join our clients dynamic team! This temp-to-perm position offers a hourly rate of £12.71, and a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

Shipping Tasks:

• Accurately pick customer orders based on pick lists or system instructions.
• Safely package finished goods to prevent damage during transit.
• Prepare and complete all required dispatch paperwork, including delivery notes, labels, and shipping documentation.
• Arrange courier collections and select the best shipping services based on order requirements.
• Verify outgoing goods against orders to maintain accuracy and reduce errors.
• Keep the dispatch area clean and organised while following all health and safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with Sales Operations and Production to address any issues or delays.
• Track shipments when necessary.

Receiving Tasks:

• Promptly and accurately book incoming deliveries into the system.
• Check goods against purchase orders and delivery notes to confirm quantities and specifications.
• Inspect items for damage, discrepancies, or quality issues and report any problems.
• Accurately record stock in our MRP system, ensuring bin locations and quantities are updated.
• Label and store received goods in their appropriate warehouse locations.
• Communicate with purchasing and suppliers when deliveries are incomplete or incorrect.
• Maintain a tidy and organised goods-in area while adhering to safety procedures.
