Experienced Teaching Assistant

An inclusive secondary school in Hounslow is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their SEN team for a September start on a full-time basis.

This Teaching Assistant role is based in a supportive and well-established school, where staff work closely together to support students with ASD, SEMH, and ADHD.

The successful applicant will play a vital role in helping students access learning, build confidence, and achieve positive outcomes.

Responsibilities

Deliver 1:1 SEN classroom support
Support small group interventions
Assist teachers with planning and resources
Support behaviour and engagement strategies
Track student progress and liaise with staff

Requirements

Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a secondary school
Strong behaviour management skills
Knowledge of SEN strategies
Calm, patient and proactive approach
