Talent Finance are partnering with a high growth international business based in Basingstoke to appoint an exceptional GroupFinance Director to lead its finance function through an exciting period of expansion.

This is a pivotal leadership role for a commercially minded finance professional who can balance strategic leadership with hands on operational support. You will be a trusted partner to the executive team, helping shape business direction, improve performance and lead a strong finance function from the front.

We’re looking for someone who combines sharp commercial instinct with strong technical finance expertise, particularly across IFRS, statutory reporting, audit, controls and compliance. Just as importantly, you’ll be someone who stays close to the detail, enjoys leading teams, and can bring clarity, pace and rigour to the finance function.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting and long term planning
• Delivering clear financial insight and reporting to support commercial decision making
• Driving profitability, margin improvement and operational efficiency
• Partnering with senior leaders across the business, wider Group functions and European sites to influence performance and support strategic growth
• Overseeing financial controls, compliance, statutory accounts, audit and IFRS reporting
• Leading and developing the finance team, setting high standards and supporting day to day delivery
• Improving systems, reporting and financial processes to support growth

• Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role within a fast paced, growing business
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS, statutory reporting and financial governance
• A commercially focused mindset, with the ability to turn financial insight into action
• Strong leadership capability, with a collaborative and hands on approach
• High levels of credibility, energy and ambition, with the confidence to operate at executive level and within the detail when needed
