A specialist ground investigation consultancy in Exeter is looking to appoint an Engineering Geologist to support a growing workload across the South West.

The company delivers a mix of geotechnical and geoenvironmental projects, with particular expertise in ground investigations, coal mining risk assessments, and slope stability analysis. Their work spans residential, commercial and infrastructure developments.

The role:

• Planning and supervising ground investigations
• Logging soils and rock to current standards
• Overseeing site works and subcontractors
• Producing factual and interpretative reports
• Supporting coal mining risk and slope stability assessments
• Liaising with clients and project teams

Requirements:

• Experience in ground investigation or engineering geology
• Strong logging and reporting skills
• Good understanding of geotechnical and geoenvironmental principles
• Experience with coal mining risk or slope stability (desirable)
• Full UK driving licence
• Live within a commutable distance from the Exeter office
