Supporting a dynamic and tenacious sales team, this Sales Coordinator role is integral to the ongoing success of client accounts. You'll be at the heart of the day-to-day account management, handling administration, speaking with clients, keeping everything on track and compliant, and making sure no detail is missed.

Sales Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Maintain strong working relationships for clients, acting as a point of contact and developing a solid understanding of each client's business and debtor profile
  • Assist with onboarding new clients, preparing documents, setting up accounts on the portal, and liaising with clients to attain all necessary information
  • Undertake in-depth regulatory checks, as advised by the Underwriter and collate all information for review
  • Maintain a general overview of your accounts, spotting anomalies and flagging these to the Manager and sales team
  • Gather and review financial and operational information from clients, including HMRC liabilities, management accounts, bank statements, and aged ledgers
  • Allocate payments, ensuring all payments are paid, align with internal processes and procedures, and distribute customer receipts
  • Effectively manage debtors, processing and allocating incoming payments, liaising with them to confirm outstanding balances and obtain payments, and issuing debtor statements
  • Complete month-end reconciliations, reviewing bank statements, creditor, and debtor listings
  • Ensure all activity is in line with agreed funding parameters and credit checks
  • Maintain accurate client and debtor records, ensuring all activity is recorded and in line with regulations
  • Work with the wider sales and management team, supporting with any administration or ad-hoc tasks

Sales Coordinator Skills and Experience:

  • Previous administration experience and understands the importance of working within a regulated industry and being compliant
  • Experience within invoice finance or banking would be advantageous, but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills, confident handling telephone conversations and making outbound calls
  • Commercially aware and enjoys working within a fast-paced sales environment
  • Demonstrates an exceptional eye for detail, along with fantastic time management and organisation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages and can utilise a CRM system
