What You’ll Be Doing

• Advising SMEs on suitable funding options across public and private sectors
• Managing funding applications end-to-end (eligibility, documentation, submission)
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients, lenders, and intermediaries
• Supporting clients through the full funding journey—from enquiry to approval
• Keeping up to date with funding schemes, market trends, and opportunities
• Ensuring compliance with FCA requirements and internal policies
• Generating new opportunities through networking and engagement

What We’re Looking For

• Background in commercial finance, SME lending, business banking, or corporate finance
• Experience managing or supporting funding applications and finance deals
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to assess business viability
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases with accuracy and attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently and within a team
