Senior HR Advisor

• Job Type: Temporary - on going 
• Location: Southampton based 
• Salary: £24.72 - £30.22 per hour 
• Working Hours: 09:00 - 17:00 Monday - Friday, with 1 hour for lunch

Our client is seeking a Senior HR Advisor to join their dynamic HR team. This role is crucial for driving strategic HR initiatives, managing complex employee relations, and supporting recruitment and training efforts. The ideal candidate will be a motivated ER Specialist with a strategic and commercial approach to HR practices.

Day-to-day of the role:

• People Management and Organisation: Empower and motivate team members to achieve success, creating an environment where everyone can perform at their best.
• Strategic HR: Assist the Head of HR in setting and achieving HR's strategic priorities, including local D&I efforts and supporting business transformation activities.
• Employee Relations: Provide expert employment law advice and manage complex casework for employees below SMT level, ensuring proactive and timely interventions.
• Recruitment: Participate in recruitment activities to ensure the process is efficient and effective, providing end-to-end support to attract and secure top talent.
• Learning & Development (L&D): Identify training needs and collaborate with the L&D team to deliver effective solutions, create and deliver internal training sessions.
• KPIs and Management Information: Use data effectively to influence business decisions and support the development of KPIs and management information.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• CIPD qualification (Level 5) or a degree-level qualification in a relevant field.
• Extensive experience in providing complex employee relations/generalist HR advice.
• In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
• Proven strategic and commercial approach to HR.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
