A highly regarded specialist architectural practice is looking to appoint a Senior Architect to join its growing team in the East Midlands.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Architect to take ownership of bespoke residential projects within a niche and rewarding sector. The practice operates nationally and has developed a strong reputation for delivering tailored design solutions on technically challenging schemes.

The successful candidate will become a key part of a collaborative and supportive team, working across a range of residential adaptation, refurbishment and new-build projects.

The Role

• Lead and manage projects from concept through to completion
• Oversee project quality and technical delivery
• Liaise confidently with clients, consultants, contractors and local authorities
• Support and mentor junior team members
• Contribute to the continued growth and development of the practice
• Produce high-quality technical drawing packages and specifications
• Attend site visits and client meetings nationally as required

Requirements

• Qualified Architect with significant post-Part III experience
• Proven experience leading projects and managing teams
• Strong residential design and technical detailing ability
• Thorough understanding of UK Building Regulations
• Knowledge of accessible design principles advantageous
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• AutoCAD experience essential
• NBS specification knowledge beneficial
• Contract administration experience advantageous
