Your new role

My client is currently recruiting for a professional and reliable Receptionist to support with holiday cover on a temporary basis in High Wycombe. This is a front-facing role, ideal for someone with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to customer service.

• Acting as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, ensuring a friendly and professional welcome
• Managing incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate departments
• Handling email enquiries and general administrative tasks
• Maintaining a tidy and organised reception area
• Meeting and greeting guests, issuing visitor passes, and notifying staff of arrivals
• Managing meeting room bookings and preparing rooms as required
• Supporting the wider team with ad hoc administrative duties

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous reception or front-of-house experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional and presentable at all times
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Competent in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
