Software Project Lead

Based in Stevenage

Salary up to £66k + bonus + 14% pension + overtime

You're a software engineer who's crossed over to the lead side. You enjoy the technical credibility that gets teams to actually listen to you, and you know how to ship.

This is a permanent role at one of the UK's most strategically important defence programmes, building simulation software that validates complex systems from development through to production. Real work. Real consequence.

You'll own scope, budget, schedule and quality across an agile, multi-disciplinary team. A DevOps mindset is expected along with managing software lifecycles from initiation to completion.

Previous technical experience in software engineering will allow you to bridge the gap between technical teams and business objectives.
