I am currently working with a UK-based specialist in temporary works engineering, supplying hire equipment and engineering services to the civil engineering, construction, rail, highways, water, and utilities sectors. The business operates nationally from a network of regional depots and engineering teams, supporting projects ranging from small urban excavations to major infrastructure schemes.
Your new role
I am seeking an experienced and highly organised Temporary Personal/Executive Assistant to provide dedicated support to the Managing Director during a period of increased business activity.This is a hands-on, fast-paced role requiring discretion, sound judgement, and the ability to manage competing priorities with confidence and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities

• Providing comprehensive diary and inbox management for the Managing Director
• Coordinating internal and external meetings, including preparation of agendas
• Managing travel arrangements and itineraries as required
• Handling confidential information with the highest level of discretion
• Preparing presentations, correspondence, and reports to a high standard
• Acting as a key point of contact between the Managing Director and internal/external stakeholders
• Supporting board-level activity, including minute-taking and follow-up actions where required
• Assisting with ad-hoc projects and administrative tasks as needed

What you'll get in return

You will be from £20.11-£21.84 per hour inclusive of holiday pay and will work 37.5 hours per week. This is an ongoing temporary assignment and you will work on an hybrid basis 3 days in the office and 2 from home. This role is based in Wigan and has free parking on site.
