Job Title: Management Accountant
Location: Nottingham (Hybrid 4 days on site)
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (pro rata)
Contract: 6 month contract

Overview
We are partnering with a growing, project led organisation to recruit a Management Accountant for an initial 3 month contract. This is a hands on role suited to someone who can quickly take ownership, support operational teams, and deliver high-quality financial insight in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts, including P&L and balance sheet reporting
• Monitor project performance, analysing costs and identifying variances
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes across multiple projects
• Partner with operational teams to provide financial insight on costs and profitability
• Assist with tender pricing and commercial decision-making
• Ensure strong financial controls and compliance with internal policies
• Drive process improvements and enhance reporting accuracy

Key Requirements

• Previous experience in a Management Accountant role within a project-based environment
• Strong Excel and financial analysis skills
• Part-qualified or qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or QBE
• Ability to communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders
• Proactive, organised, and able to meet deadlines
