Primary Class Teacher (ALN Specialist)

Salary: Main Pay Scale or Upper Pay Scale (£41,147 - £58,812 or £62,077 - £65,990 + Special Schools Allowance of £4,227 per annum)

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver high-impact, personalised learning programmes that meet the diverse needs of pupils within an ALN setting.

• Work as part of an effective team, sharing responsibility for the school's success and upholding its therapeutic ethos.

• Champion the inclusion of all pupils, ensuring they have the support needed for both personal and academic growth.

• Actively promote and safeguard the welfare of all pupils, maintaining a secure and calm learning environment.

• Participate in professional and supervisory duties as directed by the Headteacher to support the school's wider aims.

Requirements:

• QTS and expirience teaching primary students with SEND.
• Substantial experience working in a special needs setting, ideally within a primary phase.
• Have effective organisational and classroom management skills. Possess experience,
  understanding, and skills relevant to the specific responsibilities of the role.
• Training and qualification in TEAM TEACH - If this qualification is not held, this must be
  gained within 8 months of appointment.
