What you’ll be doing

• Carrying out all aspects of joinery, including repairing UPVC windows, repairing UPVC/composite doors, replacing double glazed units, and overhauling kitchens
• Delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance work, achieving first-time fixes through accurate diagnosis and effective multi-trade working
• Attending and completing all required training, toolbox talks, and e-learning modules
• Communicating professionally and empathetically with customers, colleagues, and local stakeholders
• Carrying out work safely and professionally, ensuring customers’ homes are left clean and secure
• Using PDA/mobile technology to receive, update, and manage repair jobs efficiently
• Producing accurate records, including before-and-after photographs and detailed job notes

What you’ll need

• NVQ Level 2 in Joinery (or equivalent qualification/experience)
• Full UK manual driving licence
• Experience working in domestic properties, ideally within housing (desirable but not essential)
• Ability to carry out basic plumbing, tiling, patch plastering to support first time fix and value for money
• A customer-focused approach with pride in delivering high-quality work
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and support colleagues
• Reliable, professional, and committed to safe working practices
• Good communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with customers and teams

For the purposes of our van fleet insurance you must have a minimum of 2 years driving experience with a full UK driving licence, be over the age of 21 and complete an online driver monitoring Assessment prior to starting your role. If you are under 21 but with 2 years driving experience with a full UK driving licence you would be required to complete an on-line driver monitoring assessment and additional in vehicle assessment prior to starting your role funded by our client.
