Kingston | Full-Time | Office Based

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and proactive Events Administrator to join a busy and professional team supporting the delivery of online and in-person events across the UK.

This varied role would suit a strong administrator with excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in supporting the smooth planning and delivery of events while ensuring a high standard of administration and customer service throughout.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing event registrations and attendee communications
  • Handling high volumes of emails and telephone enquiries in a professional and timely manner
  • Preparing event materials including badges, signage, event packs and attendee lists
  • Supporting the delivery of online and in-person events
  • Assisting with event logistics and coordinating multiple project timelines
  • Updating websites and online event platforms
  • Supporting email marketing campaigns, newsletters and event communications
  • Producing reports and post-event analysis using Excel and bespoke systems
  • Liaising with exhibitors, sponsors, suppliers and contractors
  • Monitoring payments, invoicing and credit control activities
  • Assisting with abstract submissions and event administration processes
  • Maintaining accurate records and supporting ongoing administrative procedures

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience within events administration, event coordination or a busy office environment
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Comfortable learning new software systems and databases
  • Experience using event management software or CRM systems would be advantageous
  • A flexible and professional approach with the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Confident telephone manner and strong customer service skills
  • A positive, hardworking and team-focused attitude

Additional Information

This is a full-time office-based position working Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm. Due to the nature of the events industry, occasional longer hours, evening/weekend work and UK travel with overnight stays may be required during busy event periods.
