Hays are recruiting for a temporary HR administrator for approximately 6 months based in Macclesfield with an immediate start.
Your new role

• Support the HR team with day-to-day administration
• Process employee leavers, including preparing documentation and updating HR systems
• Issue employment references in line with company policy
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and files
• Respond to routine HR queries and provide general administrative support
• Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within HR or a compliance-led environment
• Be immediately available for work
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• The ability to manage confidential and sensitive information appropriately
• Confidence working to processes, procedures and deadlines
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Competence using Microsoft Office and internal systems
