Shipping & Operations Coordinator (Part-Time)
Office-Based | Sheffield | Monday–Friday (9:30am–2:30pm)

Are you an organised, proactive coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Elevation Recruitment are exclusively supporting a well-established, highly specialised manufacturing business as they recruit a Shipping & Operations Coordinator into this newly created role.

Working as part of a busy Operations Planning team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring customer orders are shipped accurately, efficiently, and on time. This is a hands-on, detail-driven role where no two days look the same - ideal for someone who enjoys balancing coordination, communication, and problem-solving.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for supporting the smooth dispatch of goods, ensuring everything is packed, documented, and shipped in line with customer requirements and internal processes.

• Coordinating deliveries to meet customer timelines
• Booking collections with couriers and transport providers
• Communicating with customers regarding order readiness and collections
• Monitoring shipments and liaising with freight forwarders and carriers
• Handling and resolving any shipping issues or delays
• Supporting export processes where required
• Reconciling supplier invoices and maintaining accurate records

What We’re Looking For

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Confident working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Proactive and responsive approach to workload
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
• Experience within manufacturing, logistics, or shipping environments
• Knowledge of incoterms, export processes, or tariff codes
