JOB TITLE: FINANCE ADMINISTRATOR

Location: Main Remote + meeting in person (occasionally)

Contract Type: Part-time

Reporting To: Managing Director

Pay: £ per year


We are an Education business working within the University of Cambridge seeking a well organised Finance Administrator. The ideal candidate thrives on details, takes the initiative while working independently supporting day-to-day financial administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and allocate accurately financial transactions on Quickbooks.
  • Managing Receipts and allocating expenses in Quickbooks
  • Monitor/issue Invoices and prepare/submit VAT returns
  • Prepare Management Accounts
  • Develop budgeting process for Marketing and Sales
  • Liaise with our Accountants who prepare monthly payroll and Annual Accounts.

Person specification:

  • Strong numeracy skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Proactive and able to take initiative in managing tasks independently
  • Must have experience using Quickbooks accounting software.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to manage part-time hours while meeting responsibilities.

Experience:

  • Knowledge and working experience with Quickbooks
  • Accounting Licence/Certifications preferred
  • Preferred to have had corporate experience


Hours: This is a flexible part-time role, offering 10-15 hours per week. Will require fortnightly or monthly meeting online or face to face with MD/Directors/Accountants in Cambridge or London.

Work Location: Must be a resident in the UK with right to work. Can work remotely with fortnightly/monthly meetings in Cambridge and or London. (We do not have a UK Visa Sponsorship licence)
