  • Salary: £31,000 per annum
  • Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00

Join a well-established organisation at their modern distribution centre in Camberley as a Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver. This hands-on role in a fast-paced warehouse environment supports the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods while maintaining high levels of accuracy and safety.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Warehouse Operations:

    • Picking stock accurately and efficiently.
    • Packing goods to company standards, ensuring accuracy and quality.
    • Checking stock during packing to ensure correct orders.
    • Moving stock between goods-in, storage, and dispatch areas.
    • Replenishing stock to picking locations.
  • Goods In & Dispatch:

    • Unloading and checking incoming deliveries.
    • Allocating stock to the correct storage locations.
    • Building and loading pallets ready for dispatch.
    • Loading vehicles safely in line with company procedures.
  • Forklift & Equipment Use:

    • Operating forklift trucks (Counterbalance and/or Reach) safely.
    • Carrying out basic safety checks on equipment.
    • Using warehouse systems and handheld scanners.
  • General Duties:

    • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment.
    • Handling goods manually (up to 25kg where required).
    • Following all health & safety guidelines and company procedures.
    • Reporting accidents, near misses, or unsafe conditions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Valid forklift licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach).
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution centre environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven setting.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and proactive approach.
  • Basic IT skills (experience with warehouse systems desirable).
