We are seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant / Unqualified Teacher, LIFE Lead & CPI Instructor for a school in East London. This multifaceted role is ideal for individuals who have a passion for working with students with special educational needs (SEN) and behavioural challenges. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering education, contributing to EHCP development, and supporting the recruitment of teaching staff.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver tailored educational activities to students with SEN and behavioural needs, ensuring their learning objectives are met.
• Actively participate in the development and review of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) in collaboration with local authorities.
• Support the school's recruitment efforts by interviewing potential Teaching Assistants and assessing their suitability.
• Analyse and report on student progress data to help inform teaching strategies and interventions.
• Lead LIFE (Learning Independence For Everyone) sessions and instruct colleagues in Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) techniques to manage and support students effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in delivering education to students with SEN and behavioural challenges.
• Familiarity with the EHCP process and collaboration with local authorities.
• Experience in interviewing and recruiting educational support staff.
• Proficient in data analysis and report production related to student progress.
• Certified or willing to become certified in CPI techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
