Remuneration: £400 per day

A prestigious private members’ organisation in Mayfair is seeking an experienced HR Consultant for a short-term assignment. This role is ideal for a detail-driven HR professional with strong expertise in reviewing and refining people-related documentation within a high-standards, service-led environment.

You will act as an independent HR specialist, conducting a structured review of the organisation’s HR documentation to ensure clarity, compliance, and alignment with best practice. The role requires a confident practitioner who can quickly assess existing materials and provide clear, practical recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out a full audit of HR documentation, including:
  • Employee handbooks
  • Employment contracts
  • NDAs and confidentiality agreements
  • Core policies and procedures
  • Identify gaps, inconsistencies, outdated content, or areas requiring legal alignment.
  • Recommend updates to ensure compliance with current UK employment legislation.
  • Strengthen tone, structure, and accessibility to reflect a premium, member-focused culture.
  • Ensure documentation supports operational excellence, employee clarity, and risk mitigation.
  • Provide expert guidance on policy robustness, employee relations considerations, and best-practice HR frameworks.
  • Work discreetly with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment with organisational values and operational needs.

  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law.

  • Experience within hospitality, luxury services, private members’ clubs, or similar environments is beneficial but not essential.
