Management Accountant – 3 month Temp Assignment – Fantastic Company - City of London / Hybrid - £60k-£70k (pro rata) – Immediate Start

This is a great temp opportunity for a highly-capable, qualified Management Accountant to join a creative, collaborative and passionate organisation, based in stunning offices near Cannon Street, on a temporary basis for c3 months – starting imminently.

Joining the finance team of a multi-currency organisation, the Management Accountant will hit the ground running and require little support, taking responsibility for balance sheet integrity, month-end reporting and audit readiness across the business.

The role:

This temp role is office-based Monday-Thursday, with Friday’s working from home. Standard hours are 9-5.30pm and FTE salary is £60k-£70k.

Key responsibilities as the Management Accountant will include:

• Preparing accurate monthly management accounts
• Owning and maintaining balance sheet reconciliations
• Investigating and resolving discrepancies, unusual balances and reconciling items
• Supporting month-end and year-end processes
• Assisting with financial reporting, analysis and business decisions
• Reviewing financial date for accuracy, consistency and compliance
• Acting as a key point of contact for auditors and ensuring audit-readiness at all times

Suitable temporary candidates will have / be:

• Qualified Management Accountant
• Demonstrable experience in similar Management Accountant roles
• Multi-entity and multi-currency environment experience is highly advantageous
• Highly capable and detail-focused, with the ability to hit the ground running
• Strong experience in balance sheet reconciliations, controls and month-end close
• Experience preparing for and supporting external audits
• IT literate with strong MS Office (including Excel) and proficiency in accounting systems
• Confident communication skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
• Available imminently and able to commit to a 3 month temp assignment or FTC
