Location: Euston (Hybrid – 3 days office-based, 2 days working from home) Please note: Previous HMO experience is required for this position.
We are seeking a knowledgeable Statutory Compliance HMO Consultant to join a dynamic property management team located in Euston.
This key role focuses on ensuring full compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements across a residential lettings portfolio. Responsibilities include overseeing HMO licensing, Gas and Electrical safety, Smoke & Carbon compliance, Legionella, and all relevant licensing obligations.
Key Responsibilities
Identifying properties that require licensing under Mandatory HMO, Additional, and Selective schemes
Managing and submitting license applications on behalf of clients
Tracking license conditions and renewal deadlines
Coordinating compliance works by liaising with councils, landlords, tenants, and contractors
Reviewing documentation and maintaining accurate records within the CRM system
Advising landlords on legal responsibilities and licensing requirements
What We’re Looking For
Proven HMO experience — essential
18 months to 3 years’ experience in property compliance or a related area
Strong understanding of statutory safety regulations and certification requirements
Excellent communication skills with keen attention to detail
Self-driven, proactive mindset with the ability to meet deadlines
