We’re partnering with a modern, growing independent insurance brokerage in the Thames Valley, currently going through an exciting period of investment, rebrand, and regional growth.

This is a great opportunity for an established Account Executive to inherit a well-structured portfolio while having the space to build and shape their own success.

The Role

  • Inherit a c.£150k income book (c.50 clients) with a smooth, supportive handover (inherited from other Executives)
  • Focus on mid-market clients across sectors including Property Owners, Manufacturing, Engineering, Retail, Hospitality & Leisure and more
  • Premiums typically ranging from £10,000 to £100,000+ (with a strong core in the £30k–£50k space)
  • Deliver a consultative, relationship-led service with regular client engagement (minimum one meeting per year, more for larger accounts)
  • Identify growth opportunities through cross-sell, upsell, and referrals across the wider business
  • Work alongside a dedicated team of Handlers, allowing you to focus on client strategy and development

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience handling mid-market commercial risks (£10k–£100k GWP)
  • A solid grounding as a Handler, with at least 2+ years in an Account Executive role
  • Confident relationship builder with a consultative, client-first approach
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to different client needs
  • Professional, personable, and commercially minded
