They are now looking to appoint a Commercial Claims Handler into their Burnley office, offering a genuine opportunity for someone to take ownership of a varied caseload across commercial claims and develop long-term within a supportive and performance-driven team.


This is a hands-on role where you will be trusted to manage relationships, influence outcomes, and provide a high standard of technical and client service across a range of commercial lines.


Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for general and strategic claims matters, ensuring clear and effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
  • Manage claims across Liability, Property, and Motor exposures, delivering a high standard of service from notification through to settlement.
  • Provide a proactive, value-led claims service, identifying opportunities to improve client outcomes and service delivery.
  • Build a strong understanding of client operations, risk exposures, and claims handling requirements.
  • Analyse claims data and produce detailed reports, including commentary, summaries, and insight for clients.
  • Deliver end-to-end claims management in line with internal processes, standards, and compliance requirements.


What we are looking for:

  • Experience within commercial claims, ideally across Liability, Property, and Motor.
  • Motor claims experience will also be considered.
  • Background within either a broker or insurer environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Good analytical ability with confidence interpreting data and producing client-facing insights.
  • A proactive mindset with a strong focus on ownership, service delivery, and continuous development.
