Sports Graduate Assistant

An ambitious and high-performing co-educational boarding school is seeking a motivated Sports Graduate Assistant to join its dynamic Sports Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or undergraduate looking to gain hands-on experience in a school environment, particularly for those considering a future career in teaching, coaching, or sports development.

The Role

The successful candidate will play an active role in supporting both the delivery and organisation of sport across the school. Key responsibilities include:

• Coaching netball and/or hockey as a primary sport
• Supporting the delivery of a wide range of other sports and physical activities
• Assisting with fixtures, training sessions, and match preparation
• Providing administrative support within a busy and thriving Sports Department
• Contributing to the wider life of a vibrant boarding school community

About You

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual who:

• Has a strong interest in sport, particularly netball and/or hockey
• Demonstrates a positive, proactive, and energetic approach to all sporting activities
• Works effectively as part of a team
• Is organised and willing to assist with administrative duties
• Is keen to contribute fully to all aspects of school life
