The Role

An established logistics operation based in Maidstone is seeking a reliable and organised Customer Service Administrator to support a busy transport and fulfilment team during a period of high demand. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving and customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as the first point of contact for customers via phone and email
  • Processing delivery orders and updating internal systems
  • Liaising with drivers, warehouses and internal planners
  • Investigating delivery queries and resolving issues promptly
  • Maintaining accurate records and customer notes
  • Supporting the wider admin team with ad-hoc duties

Requirements

  • Previous customer service or administration experience
  • Strong communication skills and a confident telephone manner
  • Good IT skills (MS Outlook, Excel and internal systems)
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Logistics or transport experience advantageous but not essential
